Hiking The Negev
A large region in the south of Israel, it extends from Be'er Sheva in the north and down to The Red Sea and Eilat in the south, between the borders of Jordan and Egypt to the east and west, respectively. The Negev is a vast desert in housing diverse landscapes and outstanding views of the different craters; the Eilat Mountains; flooded streams and unique wild life and flora and more. Walking in the Negev opens a window to the Bedouin nomad lifestyle and the challenging yet spiritual experience the desert holds with in it.
Hiking the Judean Desert Jerusalem Is situated on the geographical border between the forested Judean hills in the west ant the dramatic Judean desert in the east. This desert is not one of endless sand dunes, rather a rugged landscape characterized by towering cliffs and deep crevices with outstanding views of the Dead Sea and the arresting Moab and Edom red mountains of Jordan
Wadi Qelt - The prat river vally A day hike to Wadi Qelt is a fun and unique experience. The flowing Prat River originates near Jerusalem, crosses the Judean desert and ends at Jericho. Along the way we hike in pools of water, dip in fresh springs and enjoy the desert fauna and brobebly see hyraxes and gazelles wandering in their natural habitat. This Wadi is the home to Bedouin people and secret monasteries, also holds the story of ancient societies as seen by ruins we visit along the way.
