A large region in the northern part of Israel, it extends from the Mediterranean Sea in the west to the slopes of the Golan Heights in the east, and from the Dan River in the north to the southern end of the Kineret Sea in the south. The Galilee is a beautiful hilly area covered with green forests. The many streams take you through different ethnic villages and towns, historical and archeological remains and up to breathtaking outlooks over the Kineret and Mediterranean Seas.
